COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY, OPENNESS, AND OUR COMMUNITY

Offering a well-balanced educational program with a clear focus on empowerment and self-actualization, ASG & BSA today offer students a healthy, innovative learning culture promoting self-expression.

The schools are IB World schools, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program since 2001.
EMPOWERING OUR YOUTH WITH EDUCATION
In 1926, a school of 25 students and a handful of teachers took the first steps on a path of dedication, excellence, and vision. Today that school remains a landmark in Amman that celebrates thought leadership, youth empowerment and progressive pedagogy.
The young women and men graduating from ASG and BSA are confident, independent and well-known for being active members in their society, praised for their leadership and creativity. Our graduates embody the schools’ values and extend the schools’ mission to their community and beyond.
ACTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY
In striving to empower our Jordanian youth through equipping them with the required knowledge and diverse academic paths that strengthen their life skills and prepare them to open up to intercultural dialogue and local as well as global experiences, and arising from our trust and belief in the quality of education IB Programmes avail schools, ASG and BSA are amongst a handful of schools worldwide who have adopted the four IB programmes.

knowledge creators; initiators of change; responsible and productive citizens capable of creating a future of their own choice.
Primary Years Programme
(PYP)
Middle Years Programme
(MYP)
Diploma Programme
(DP)
Our school is authorized to offer the PYP to students from K-5. The PYP is a balanced program of learning, in line with the latest research and global best practices. The PYP is centered on the learner, encourages active learning, and aims to provide learners with the knowledge and basic concepts and skills that help them build positive attitudes, make decisions and take initiatives in social and humanitarian fields. The PYP is offered in Arabic, our students’ mother tongue. Homeroom teachers work hand in hand with the single subject teachers to provide the best enriched environment to nurture our students during their learning journey.

ASG & BSA were authorized in 2017 as one school operating in two campuses to offer the MYP. Educators from both campuses collaborate to create unique educational value for our students. The MYP prepares our students to either join the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), the Career related Program (IBCP), or the local Tawjihi program.

The oldest IB programme in the school, the DP is a holistic programme that provides students with a wide knowledge base in both the sciences and the arts, while simultaneously nurturing creativity and community service. The DP is internationally recognized and widely accepted by all the leading universities worldwide.

The Career-Related
Programme (CP)
Learning Centers
School Societies
The CP provides our students with the option to pursue a more career-oriented path in both their junior and senior years.  As part of the CP, students are required to take a minimum of two DP subjects and to spend at least 2 years in career-related studies. The two sectors currently in place at ASG and BSA are Business and Information Technology (IT). Each student leaves the programme with a career-related certificate or credits, in our case, BTEC, which are authorized by an external accredited body
Whether it is to cater for the different needs of our students or to complement existing educational curriculums with value-added content, our learning centres are the tools used by teachers and students alike to augment the schools’ educational value.

The concept of training has been replaced by the concept of new learning on the part of the teaching staff at ASG. Therefore, the school presents itself as a learning organization and has consequently obtained Al-Hasan Award for Excellence in the private sector for the year 2002.
The Visual Arts Department teaches developmentally appropriate art courses for students in the different grade levels and exposes them to different international art work through mosaics, ceramics, sculpture and painting. All the art work is displayed at the end of each school year in a comprehensive art exhibition. IBDP students hold their first art exhibition as part of the visual arts course.

EDUCATORS AND LIFELONG LEARNERS
Our highly qualified and dedicated team of educators are united at their core where service prevails and teaching is an evocation rather than a vocation. Guided by a spirit and soul organization, our teachers thrive in full balance and harmony, separately and together, led by the goodness that encompasses a life dedicated to continuous learning and growth.
